Do you want to work with children?
Stockport needs new childminders, playworkers and childcare staff to work in day nurseries, pre-schools, creches and out of school clubs.


Childminding
To become a registered childminder you need to go on a short course. We are currently running a pre-registration course which started in September 2014 and the next one will be taking place in the new year. Before you can enrol on the next course you will need to attend an information session. If you are interested in finding out more about the next course please contact us. Childcare Matching/ Brokerage Service
Family Link offers a Childcare Matching/ Brokerage service for people who need some help in finding the childcare they need. We offer this service to parents, organisations and employers in the Stockport area.

We have a database of childcare providers who we contact when we are looking for childcare.

Are you a Childcare Provider? Do you need help filling you vacancies?
You can sign up to join our database for £20 a year. We are looking for Ofsted registered childcare providers to help parents find the childcare they need. You can now join through our website by selecting ‘Become a Member’ .We are also offering our members Training Courses at low cost. BOSCMA
BOSCMA (Borough of Stockport Childminding Association) is an organisation founded by working childminders offering friendship, help and support to all childminders in the Stockport area. They also represent the views of Stockport childminders at both regional and national level.

PACEY Local
PACEY Local Stockport was set up for Childminders, Nannies and Early Years Workers to provide peer to peer support and to identify needs in the Local Authority.  They are a not-for-profit, friendly group aiming to help everyone working with children in their early years.
