Childminding
To become a registered childminder you need to go on a short course. The course consists of two information sessions followed by one evening sesion a week over the next ten weeks and two Saturdays (First Aid Training). There is no exam for this course but you will be expected to produce a portfolio to complete the course. Only one session can be missed, however, this does not include either of the information sessions or the Saturdays as these must be attended in order to complete the course.
