Are you a parent or carer in Stockport? Are you hoping to return to work or training? Family info Link can give you information to help, such as how to go about finding child care, help with paying for childcare and your rights in terms of part time working, flexible working and parental leave.

If you are a lone parent you could get childcare or other support to help you get into work.  Call Jobseeker Direct on 0845 6060 234, visit http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk , ask your local Jobcentre Plus or contact Family info Link for more details.

If you get Working Tax Credit - financial help for people working but on a low or middle income - you might be able to get help with paying for childcare.  Contact the tax credit helpline on 0845 300 3900 or visit their website www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/taxcredits or for more information see Family info Link's downloadable leaflet Working Tax Credits
