Family info Link is a registered charity and limited company providing a Families Information Service (Family info Link) on behalf of Stockport Council. We provide information on registered childcare and other family related services to all Stockport parents and carers of children and young people 0-20 years. All our services are free and impartial. Information is available through the helpline, email, websites, appointments, home visits and outreach sessions.

We aim to provide services to all customers regardless of race, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, offending past, caring responsibilities, social class or age.

The service works to nationally agreed standards to uphold quality assurance. A policy of strict confidentiality is guaranteed except where a child is perceived to be at risk or care provision fails to meet legal standards.

The Helpline opening hours are 8.30-5.00pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30-4.30pm Friday. This service is also available Wednesday evening 6.30-8.00pm and Saturday morning 9.00am-12.00. An answerphone operates outside these hours and on Bank Holidays. We aim to respond to all calls within 24 hours.
