Stockport Children’s Centres provide a wide range of information and support to children and their families.

Based in the community so that families are able to access services locally and conveniently, Children’s Centres are for all families with children under five. They offer information about childcare, early education, health and family support and can also help with training and finding the right job.

There are nineteen Children’s Centres each offering a range of activities such as Bookstart, Stay and Play, drop-in sessions with midwives and health visitors, breastfeeding support, storytimes, childminder support groups, parenting support and links with Jobcentre Plus.
