How can we help you?

Family info Link is an independent charity, established in 1983 which provides free, confidential information to families in the Stockport area.

Contact our friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team for information on childcare, parenting, education, benefits, disability services and leisure activities.

 

The Helpline opening hours are 8.30-5.00pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30-4.30pm Friday. An answerphone operates outside these hours and on Bank Holidays. We aim to respond to all calls within 24 hours. Freephone 0808 800 0606, or fill in the form on the Contact Us page.

Family info Link staff work to nationally agreed standards to uphold quality assurance. A policy of strict confidentiality is guaranteed except where a child is perceived to be at risk or care provision fails to meet legal standards.

We aim to provide services to all customers regardless of race, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, offending past, caring responsibilities, social class or age.
